Imphal, October 20 2021: Socialist Students' Union of Manipur (SSUM) has appointed its new executives for the session 2021-22 on Wednesday.

Speaking to media persons at its office, SSUM president S Yaima informed that a general body meeting was convened on Wednesday at its head office and appointed eight executives for the session 2021-22 including self as S president, Th Pradeepkumar as finance secretary and Khwairakpam Romeo as publicity, among others.

During the general body meeting, three resolutions were also adopted related to exerting pressure on the government for developing infrastructure of educational institutes urging land owners not to take their share of crops from the landless farmers because of scanty rainfall this year and to convene a meeting so as to allay apprehension among the students whether examination would be conducted or not, he added.
