Chennai: Leader of Opposition and AIADMK joint coordinator Edappadi K Palaniswami was admtited to a private hospital in Chennai this morning.
Sources said the former Chief Minister was admitted for a follow-up procedure in connection with hernia surgery he underwent earlier this year. ‘He will return home today itself,’ they added.
In April, soon after Assembly elections, Palaniswami underwent hernia surgery, it may be recalled.
