KALYAN: A 51-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly molesting his six-year-old neighbour in Kalyan.
The victim on Wednesday had gone to buy chips at grocery shop when accused Madhav Santra who lives in neighbourhood molested her by touching her inappropriately.
The victim later informed about the same to her mother who then approached Kolsewadi police.
The Kolsewadi police lodged an FIR against the accused and arrested him under section 354 (molestation) of the Indian Penal Code and relevant provision of the Protection of Children Against Sexual Offences (POCSO).
