Song eulogising Epu Maichous released

Imphal, October 20 2021: A song eulogising divine powers of seven Epu Maichous (scholars), who have important places in the history of Manipur, has been released on Wednesday at Panthoibi Shanglen, Luwangsangbam Makha Leikai.
The song titled 'Shaphong-biro Utpiraklo, Natik Nayai Athoiba, Haada Kanglei Epu Maichou Taret' has been written by RK Sanahanbi of Luwangsangbam Makha Leikai and Thingbaijam Bipinchandra is the singer and composer of the song.
Gopi Kog and Waikhom Shyam respectively gave music and visual editing of the song.
The release function was attended by retired lecturer and columnist Gulamjat Tongbram as chief guest, retired headmaster Mangsatabam Ibomcha Meitei as president and AIR Imphal's folk song B-high artiste Thongam Gose Meitei as special guest.
Mention may be made that RK Sanahanbi has written many books in the past and contributed much to the development of Manipuri literature apart from contributing many articles in local dames.
