Governor's Cup Fencing : KHFA emerge overall team champions

Imphal, October 20 2021: KHFA, Khongman were crowned overall champions of the 17th Governor's Cup State Level Fencing Championship organised by Manipur Fencing Association at Khuman Lampak Indoor Hall from October 16 .

KHFA secured 11 gold, 13 silver and 16 bronze medals to amass 110 points for the top honour which comprises a Governor's Cup trophy and a cash reward of Rs 5,000 .

Both the men's (7 gold, 6 silver and 7 bronze) and women's (4 gold, 7 silver and 9 bronze) overall team champions title also went to KHFA and were feted with trophies and cash reward of Rs 4,000 each during the valedictory function graced by Khurai AC MLA, S Susindro; Manipur Fencing Association president, M Lokendro; YAS Director, T Phulen; former president MFA, Th Joykumar and vice president MFA, S Pritamkumar as dignitaries.

KHFA also bagged the senior men's team title with a total of 3 gold and 1 silver medals to collect a total of 16 points and earn a trophy and a cash prize of Rs 1,000 .
