Ready for legal battle against Nawab Malik: Wankhede

Mumbai, Oct 21 (UNI) Zonal director of Narcotics Control Bureau, Sameer Wankhede on Thursday said that he will fight a legal battle against Nationalist Congress Party spokesperson and state minister Nawab Malik for levelling baseless allegations against his family members.
Replying to a query of journalist here, he said, "Ever since he joined the Service, he never had been to Dubai. At college time, yes, he had gone to Dubai with college friends, with permission from his parents."
He asked what wrong he had done by going to Dubai. Wankhede said he respect Malik, he is a minister, good minister.
"To take up the matter in court, he has to take permission from the concerned authority, thereafter, he will take up the legal battle against Malik," he added.
Earlier in the day, in Pune, Malik had levelled several allegations against the family members of Wankhede for visiting Maldives and Dubai.
He had also accused Wankhede of having connection with the Bharatiya Janata Party.
