XPG Headshot gaming mouse and Genesis DDR5 RAM recognised for design excellence

By

XPG, Xtreme Performance Gear, has been recognised for design excellence in the Japanese Good Design Award for 2021, for its XPG Headshot gaming mouse and Genesis DDR5 memory module.

XPG is a fast-growing provider of systems, components, and peripherals for gamers, eSports professionals and tech enthusiasts.

The XPG Headshot gaming mouse is manufactured via 4D printing and AI technology. The 4D printing creates a mechanical structure with a lattice mesh exterior, making a sturdy yet lightweight mouse. The Headshot can be custom-made to match the shape of an individual’s hand for the ultimate in personalised ergonomics. The mouse was founded on three design principles - lightweight, incomparable ergonomics, and stylish design. It has previously won Taiwan’s Golden Pin Design award.

The XPG Genesis DDR5 is a RAM module that aims to bring next-level performance to PC gamers and enthusiasts. It is a high-end DRAM module with a premium look-and-feel dominated by two metal surface treatments, one glossy and one matte. The module also features intersecting geometric grooves and lines and a beveled surface for added effect.

The Good Design Award is a prestigious design evaluation and promotion program originally launched by the Japan Industrial Design Promotion Organisation in 1988. The program is committed to promoting and encouraging exemplary designs that facilitate industrial development and enrich people’s lives.

XPG promotes high-performance products to gamers, esports pros, and tech enthusiasts and is committed to developing products from systems to peripherals with the highest standards of extreme performance and reliability.

XPG also plays an active role in sponsoring and supporting eSports events and teams globally, to realise extreme gaming experiences at the highest levels.
