L&T FINANCE HOLDINGS Share Price Down by 5%; BSE 500 Index Up 0.1% Thu, 21 Oct 09:35 AM
L&T FINANCE HOLDINGS share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 90.
Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 24,912 (up 0.1%).
Among the top losers in the BSE 500 Index today are L&T FINANCE HOLDINGS (down 5.1%) and MINDTREE (down 5.0%).
SHOPPERS STOP (up 12.2%) and GMDC (up 4.9%) are among the top gainers today.
Over the last one year, L&T FINANCE HOLDINGS has moved up from Rs 59 to Rs 90, registering a gain of Rs 31 (up 52.1%)..
The BSE 500 has moved up from 15,425 to 24,912, registering a gain of 9,487 points (up 61.5%) during the last 12 months.
The top buzzing stocks among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were ADANI TOTAL GAS (up 663.6%), JSW ENERGY (up 510.3%) and RELIANCE POWER (up 508.6%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?
The BSE Sensex is at 61,621 (up 0.1%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are ONGC (up 2.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ONGC and ITC.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 18,384 (up 0.1%). IOC (up 2.6%) and ONGC (up 2.5%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 40,432 to 61,621, registering a gain of 21,189 points (up 51.67%).
L&T FINANCE HOLDINGS Financial Update...
L&T FINANCE HOLDINGS net profit down at Rs 2 billion for the quarter ended June 2021, compared to a loss of Rs 3 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 10.4% to Rs 31.4 billion during the period as against Rs 35.0 billion in April-June 2020.
For the year ended March 2021, L&T FINANCE HOLDINGS reported 44.2% decrease in net profit to Rs 9.5 billion compared to net profit of Rs 17.0 billion during FY20.
Revenue of the company grew 3.0% to Rs 137 billion during FY21.
The current Price to earnings ratio of L&T FINANCE HOLDINGS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 21.9x.
