The Bassi Pathana police solved the murder mystery of a woman with the arrest of her son, daughter-in-law and a relative.
In June, Bhupinder Kaur, a resident of Jhampur village, was allegedly murdered by her son Amrit Singh in connivance with his wife Rajwinder Kaur and relative Gurwinder Singh at Badali Ala Singh village. The police arrested Amrit and during interrogation, he revealed how he had killed his mother in a bid to grab property. The police have booked the three under Sections 302, 201 and 34 of the IPC. — OC
