Imphal, October 19 2021: Meetei Erol Eyek Loinasillol Apunba Lup (MEELAL) has decried the irresponsible act of the Manipuri Department, Manipur University where the aspiring candidates and their parents were made to wait for hours without prior information on the day of entrance examination on October 17.MEELAL in a press release has alleged that the said department is filled with irregularities and controversies.

Talking about the complaint received from some students regarding the unavailability of a book included in the course of 2nd semester, MEELAL has urged that the said book should be excluded in the 2nd semester exam.

Stating that MEELAL is keeping a close check on the activities of the said department, it has cautioned the teachers to be extra cautious regarding the spelling while setting questions and so on.

Further MEELAL also earnestly appealed to all concerned to include Meetei Mayek in the banner, back drop, posters and all other papers to be used in campaigns for the upcoming State Legislative Assembly election without fail.
