The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officer leading the investigations in the Mumbai drugs case has reacted to the rejection of bail applications of Aryan Khan and two others by a special NDPS court in Mumbai.
Reacting to the news that Aryan Khan and the two others will stay in jail, NCB's Sameer Wankhede denied giving any specific comments and only stated, "Satyamev Jayate", meaning "Truth alone triumphs."
Following the setback, the legal team of Aryan Khan will be moving the Bombay High Court in a bid to seek bail for the star kid.
The verdict was pronounced by the Special Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) court in Mumbai today at 2:45 pm. The court had reserved its order on October 14.
Aryan Khan has been in the Arthur Road Prison in Mumbai for his alleged involvement in an illegal drugs case. The star kid is expected to stay in the jail until the next hearing.
Earlier in the day, the NCB had submitted WhatsApp chats of Aryan Khan that reportedly reveal his chats with an upcoming actress where the two are discussing drugs.
NCB raided a rave party on a cruise ship enroute to Goa from Mumbai on October 2 where Aryan Khan had been an attendee. Aryan Khan and seven other co-accused taken into custody by NCB post interrogation following the drug bust.
