The Proteas have beaten Pakistan by six wickets in a thrilling T20 World Cup warm-up clash in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.
Rassie van der Dussen was the hero for South Africa, scoring a brilliant 101 not out off just 51 balls, including 10 fours and 4 sixes.

Chasing 187 to win after captain Temba Bavuma won the toss and asked Pakistan to bat, the Proteas' reply got off to the worst possible start, losing both openers in the third over.
They were removed by the left-arm spinner, Imad Wasim who had Quinton de Kock (6) caught in the covers and Reeza Hendricks (7) bowled to leave South Africa reeling on 15 for 2.
Rassie van der Dussen and Bavuma, surprisingly batting at No 4, initially struggled to score freely against a discipline Pakistani attack.
As they settled, however, they upped the ante and put on a partnership of 107 for the fourth wicket in 72 balls.
When Bavuma fell for 46 off 42 with the total on 122, South Africa required 65 off 30 balls.
But Van der Dussen and Heinrich Klaasen (14) kept the Proteas in with a chance.
After Klaasen was bowled by Shaheen Afridi, the Proteas still needed 19 runs to win off the final over.
Van der Dussen and David Miller led them home, smashing two sixes and two fours to bring victory with South Africa's batting hero bringing up his century off the last ball.
Earlier, the Proteas bowler made an excellent start with Kagiso Rabada yorking Babar Azam (15) and Mohammad Rizwan (19) falling to Anrich Nortje, caught by Keshav Maharaj.
With their dangerous openers in the pavillion, Pakistan were 36 for two after six overs and batting at just a run-a-ball.
Fakar Zaman, however, had other ideas and he gave the Pakistan innings the impetus it needed.
The dangerous left-hander blasted 52 runs off just 28 balls with five sixes before he retired.
He was ably supported by Asif Ali who kept up the pressure on the bowlers with 32 off 18 balls and veteran Shoaib Malik with 28 off 20 balls.
Rabada was the best of the Proteas bowlers, taking 3 for 28 in his four overs which included 11 dots balls.
While ultimately the result of the warm-up match means little, there was an injury scare for the Proteas as spinner Tabraiz Shamsi was forced to leave the field with what appeared to be a groin strain.
Proteas management said his injury would be assessed over the next few days.
Losing the world's number one ranked bowler in T20 cricket would be a massive blow as the Proteas start their tournament against Australia on Saturday.
