On October 20, to laud the culinary arts profession, International Chef’s Day is celebrated. For the unversed, the former president of World Chefs’ Chef Dr Bill Gallagher, kickstarted the International Chefs Day in 2004. While one may think that being a chef is all glamorous, it isn’t that easy.

Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya shed her saree-clad avatar to play a chef in her digital debut. In ALTBalaji’s Coldd Lassi aur Chicken Masala she plays Chef Nithya Sharma. And while she looked the prettiest in the show, her portrayal was highly appreciated and lauded by the masses.

This was her digital debut and Divyanka left a good mark. In the show, her love life was shown at stake. However, that she never let it affect her career. The show also stars Rajeev Khandelwal in the lead role.

Nithya Menen in Breathe: Into the Shadows on Amazon Prime Video

Priyamani was seen in this beautiful story of a family, wherein the head of the family finds out about his sexuality. Priyamani played Sakshi, a headstrong chef, in ALTBalaji’s His Storyy.

Sakshi is the lady who multi-tasked her way throughout, keeping a delicate balance between her family and professional life. Her issues in life are different, but she is determined and focused on not letting them shackle her. She continued with her work and kept shining. The show also starred Satyadeep Misra and Mrinal Dutt in primary roles.
