Dengue continues to sting as the district today reported 38 cases of mosquito-borne disease. The tally of dengue cases has now risen to 208 in the district.

Of 208 cases, around 161 cases were reported from urban areas, while 47 from rural areas, informed the Health Department. It has been learnt that cases will continue to rise in the coming days as the district is witnessing light showers that increase the breeding of mosquitoes.

It has been learnt that over 100 dengue cases have already been reported over the past week.
