Four persons tested positive for Covid here on Monday taking the total count of cases in the district to 47,342. The health authorities also reported recovery of one patient from the disease. With this, the total number of patients, who recovered from Covid, has increased to 45,740 in the district. At present, the district has seven active cases.
Meanwhile, 5,099 residents were inoculated during the ongoing vaccination drive here on Monday. Of these 2,653 received their first vaccine dose while 2,446 got jabbed against virus for the second time.
