    Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

    Synopsis

    In the Nifty 50 index, 16 stocks ended in the green, while 34 stocks closed in the red in today's trade.

    NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Tuesday.

    These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Jupiter Infomed(14.46%), K P Energy Ltd.(13.48%), CG-VAK Software(12.78%), Cosco(India)(12.42%), TTK Prestige(12.15%), Source Natural(10.19%), Sudal Inds(10.11%), Camex Ltd(10.05%), Gujarat Lease(10.0%) and Vaksons Automobiles(10.0%).

    The 30-share Sensex ended 49.54 points down at 61716.05, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 58.3 points down at 18418.75.

    In the Nifty 50 index, 16 stocks ended in the green, while 34 stocks closed in the red.

    Meanwhile, stocks such as Paras Defence and Space Technologies Ltd., DRA Consultants, Speciality Rest, Bansal Roofing Prod. and L&T Infotech hit their fresh 52-week high, while Texel Ind(PP), JLAInfraville&Shop, Adishakti Loha and Ispat Ltd., Paos Industries and Arihant Tourne touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
