    Motherson Sumi shares drop 1.75% as Sensex rises

    Shares of the Systems Ltd. traded at Rs 235.65 on BSE at 12:45PM (IST) on Tuesday, down 1.75 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 103.85 and a high of Rs 273.0.

    Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.

    At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 34.91 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 6.77 per share and 5.07 times its book value, as per BSE data.

    A total of 425,562 shares changed hands on the counter till 12:45PM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 74669.36 crore and is part of the Auto Ancl - Electrical industry.

    The scrip has been an outperformer , up 119.11 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 53.03 per cent gain in Sensex.

    During the day, the stock moved between Rs 244.75 and Rs 234.4.

    Promoter/FII Holding
    Promoters held 33.96 per cent in the company as of 30-Jun-2021. FII and MF ownership in Motherson Sumi Systems Ltd. stood at 16.86 per cent and 9.72 per cent, respectively.
