The City of Johannesburg says parts of the city is experiencing power interruptions due to a fire at the Robertsham sub-station.
The power outage occurred on Monday at around 20:30.

According to the City, the affected areas included Aeroton, Evans Park, The Hill, Ormonde, Robertsham and surrounds.

"Emergency services and fire teams have been called to put out the fire," it said in a statement.
Teams from City Power will remain on standby to attend to the outage after the emergency services are finished.
The City added the estimated time of restoration was not available as yet.
