Tim McGraw jumped off the stage during a recent concert in Reno, Nevada, to confront fans who were reportedly heckling him after the country superstar missed a few lyrics.
The singer paused the show during a performance of "Just to See You Smile" when fans started to boo him for forgetting the lyrics to his hit song.
"Hold on, stop. You got a problem with me?" McGraw said before climbing off the stage into the crowd.
However, security guards arrived and helped to de-escalate the situation. Eventually, McGraw went back to the stage and resumed singing "Where the Green Grass Grows."
After resuming the show, McGraw also addressed the issue why he was having hard time remembering lyrics.
"If I forget words tonight, just know I'm old." he said, joking with the audience. "And I'm shooting a movie and I'm working with my wife."
"There are a lot of variables in that situation. So, if I forget the words, sing along with me and help me out," he added.
