This Rare Ferrari 599 Aperta Has A Special Hermés Orange Interior

The Ferrari 599 SA Aperta is one of the most exclusive cars built by the Prancing Horse in the past decade and a particularly unique example is currently up for auction.

Just 80 examples of the 599 SA Aperta were produced, making it significantly rarer than the likes of the Ferrari Monza SP1 and SP2. It was built as the droptop variant of the hardcore 599 GTO and this one has only been driven 6,904 miles (~11,100 km).

It currently resides in the UK, although it spent its first three years living in France and was serviced in Cannes and Nice. It has been driven just over 430 miles (~700 km) in the last six years and is finished in a special order shade dubbed Nero Stellato. It has also been equipped with black front and rear Cavallino badges, Scuderia shields, matte black wheels, and black brake calipers.

The interior is also a sight to behold thanks to Hermés orange leather that adorns the carbon-backed racing seats, lower dashboard, transmission tunnel, and door panels. Other areas of the interior are finished with black leather while there are also Nero Stellato painted inserts on the dashboard.

Found in front of the cabin is a 6.0-liter naturally-aspirated V12 that churns out 661 hp at 8,250 rpm and 457 lb-ft (620 Nm) of torque, the same figures as the 599 GTO. The 599 SA Aperta also features an exhaust system derived from the track-only 599XX. It can hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.6 seconds and continue through to a 202 mph (325 km/h) top speed.

This example is currently offered by Paddle Up and bidding was sitting at £800,000 (US$1,104,000) with 19 days left in the auction at the time of writing.
