The 47-year-old English singer and Olivia, 22, finished in the bottom two during the season 30 episode that paid tribute to Grease with each couple dancing a song to the popular musical.
Show host Tyra Banks, 47, told viewers that it would be up to the judges to save either Mel C or Olivia with head judge Len Goodman breaking any tie.

'Okay. I'm going to say the couple I'd like to save is Olivia and Val,' Len said as he automatically broke the tie per show rules.
'Whoa,' Tyra said as Mel C was shockingly eliminated.

'Melanie has been struggling throughout this whole process to find her confidence as a dancer. And I really hope this week will be a breakthrough moment for her,' Gleb said during rehearsal.
Mel C admitted that she identified with Sandy's character who wasn't sure of herself and told Gleb that she gets upset because she feels like she's disappointing him.

They were nearly perfect and received a score of 39 out of 40 points from the judges.

Jimmie and pro partner Emma Slater danced a Foxtrot to Sandy and earned a score of 34 out of 40 points.

Charleston dance: Olympics gymnast Sunni Lee and pro partner Sasha Farber danced the Charleston to Born To Hand Jive and they got all 9's from the judges for a score of 36 out of 40

Didi, 70, who played Frenchy in Grease, talked to JoJo Siwa, 18, and her same-sex partner Jenna Johnson, 27, about the friendship between Sandy and Frenchy and said she remains friends with Olivia Newton-John.
