The first trailer for Aaron Sorkin’s Being the Ricardos has just debuted online giving us our first look at Nicole Kidman and Javier Bardem as famed Hollywood couple Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz.

The film follows Lucy and Desi through one week of production on I Love Lucy and the ups and downs they face that impacts their lives and careers.

If you missed it, there was a bit of a casting controversy involved in Nicole‘s casting and she spoke out about it. Another actress campaigned hard to play the iconic icon.

The film will be released on Amazon on December 21st, 2021.
