Hyundai recently launched the N Line variant of the i20. They also announced that they will be launching more N Line variants of their vehicles in India. Here, we have a rendering of a Hyundai Creta’s N Line variant. The artist who made the render is KDesign AG. It is important to note that this is just an artist’s imagination, the production-spec N Line variant will look different.
Overall, the Creta N Line looks sportier and has more road presence than the regular Creta. It gets a more aggressive front bumper and a different grille. The headlamps and its surrounding is a black-out. The SUV is finished in a deep shade of blue while the roof is finished in black colour.
The side profile of the render stays the same as the regular Creta but it is now running on different alloy wheels that look sportier. It is also using different tyres with a slimmer profile. Then we come to the rear, where we can see the tail lamp design is the same but now the LED elements are slimmer and the tail lamp itself has a smoked effect. The rear bumper is now more aggressive and gets a silver skid plate with a diffuser. There is also a dual-tip exhaust and the tailgate itself is now sculpted and adds a muscular look.

What changes could Creta N Line offer?
Hyundai would not make any changes to the drivetrain of the N Line Creta. The manufacturer already offers a turbocharged petrol engine with the SUV. It is a 1.4-litre unit that also comes with direct injection. The engine produces 140 PS of max power and 242 Nm of peak torque. It is offered with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox only.
Hyundai will make changes to the suspension setup of the Creta N Line. It will run on a firmer suspension setup as of now the suspension of the Creta is set on a softer side in favour of the ride quality. A firm suspension setup would make the SUV feel more confidence-inspiring in corners. Moreover, the steering wheel would also have more weight and more feedback.
Other changes would include an N Line specific grille and an aggressive front and rear bumper. There would be some special paint schemes that will be offered with the N Line only. Hyundai will use a slightly more throaty exhaust system. There will be some changes to the interior too. It will have a black theme with red accents and stitching. There would also be N Line specific seats. The four-spoke steering wheel will be replaced by a three-spoke unit which is exclusive to N Line vehicles. There will also be paddle shifters to take manual control of the gearbox.
Prices and Rivals
Hyundai Creta starts at Rs. 10.16 lakhs ex-showroom. The Turbo variants start at Rs. 16.83 lakhs ex-sh0wroom. It goes against Kia Seltos, Renault Duster, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, Maruti Suzuki S-Cross and Nissan Kicks. Because of its pricing, it also competes against the Tata Harrier, MG Hector and Mahindra XUV700.
