The Blue Water Area Athlete of the Week poll is back. Now it’s time for you, the fans, to determine a winner.

Remember: Voting ends at noon Thursday.

Listed below are this week’s finalists in alphabetical order.

Elena Guc – Cardinal Mooney volleyball: The captain led the Cardinals to a five-set victory over Orchard Lake St. Mary’s on Oct. 13. Guc finished with 25 kills, 20 digs and two blocks as Cardinal Mooney clinched the CHSL Intersectional Division title.

Madison Bajis – Port Huron Northern girls golf: There were 95 players that participated in the team competition at the Division 2 state finals. Bajis’ stroke total of 160 ranked eighth. The senior shot an 81 in the first round and a 79 in the second to secure a top-10 finish.

Ian Pinnoo – St. Clair boys tennis: The junior finished as the runner-up in #2 singles at the Division 3 state finals. Pinoo, who had a first-round bye, didn’t lose a set in his second (6-0, 6-1), third (6-4, 6-0) and semifinal (6-0, 6-0) victories.

Jose Salcedo – Imlay City boys soccer: Salcedo scored two goals last week, one in each of the Spartans’ two wins. The first came during a 5-0 victory over Richmond on Oct. 11. Two days later, the junior scored with 22 minutes left in the first half of Imlay City’s 2-1 win over Ortonville Brandon.
