CBSE Board Exam 2022 Class 10, Class 12 Date Sheet: Candidates can check the datasheet on the official website- cbse.gov.in. File. CBSE Date Sheet 2021-22 Term 1: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on October 18 released the date sheets for Class 10 and 12 term-1 board exams 2021-22. CBSE will conduct the first-term board examinations for classes 10 and 12 offline in November-December. Candidates can check the date sheet on the official website- cbse.gov.in
From this year, CBSE will conduct two board exams instead of the one annual exam pattern followed till last year. The term two exams for secondary and senior secondary students will be conducted in February-March 2022.
The term I exams will be objective-type and the duration of the tests will be 90 minutes. The exams will commence from 11.30 am due to the winter season.
CBSE examination controller Sanyam Bhardwaj said the released date sheet is for major subjects while the schedule for minor subjects will be sent to schools separately. The exams for minor subjects for classes 10 and 12 will begin from November 17 and November 16, respectively.
Once the term-I exam concludes, the results in the form of the marks sheet will be declared. However, no student will be placed in the pass, compartment and essential repeat categories after the first term. The final results will be declared after the first and the second-term examinations.
Meanwhile, the board has released class 10, 12 sample papers and the marking scheme for term-I examinations 2021-22. Students who are to appear for the examination can check the same on the board’s official website cbseacademic.nic.in.
The first term exams will begin from November 30 for major subjects, while the schedule for minor subjects will be sent to schools separately. "The new objective format has a five-minute increased reading time, which is quite thoughtful and would help the students to read the questions and the options carefully before selecting the right answers. The idea of 90-minute tests in the first term board exams is excellent as during the times of lockdown, the mode of teaching, learning and grasping has undergone a massive change," Pallavi Upadhyaya, Principal, DPS-RNE Ghaziabad, told PTI.

This is the first time that CBSE will be conducting the board exams in two phases — Term 1 and 2. The board has also increased the number of exam centres from 7,000 to 14,000. As per reports, around 22 lakh candidates are expected to take the OMR-based Term 1 exam for class 10 and nearly 14 lakh have registered for Term-1 of class 12.
The CBSE Class 12 exams for major subjects will begin on Wednesday, December 1 with sociology paper (subject code 039) and end on December 22 with Home science (code 064). English core (subject code 301) will be held on Friday December 3, Mathematics (code 041) will be held on Monday December 6.

high school students in Andhra Pradesh will begin appearing for board exams conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) from 2024 academic year as the state has started the process of board affiliation from this academic year. Education Minister Audimulapu Suresh said the aim is to bring 56,000-odd schools under the CBSE umbrella with at least 2,000 of them receiving the affiliation this year itself. Delhi has 2,188 schools affiliated to CBSE. Lakhs of students from these schools, which include government schools in the city, will sit for the first term exams in November-December. This is the first time since March 2020 that so many students will sit for physical exams across schools.

CBSE is yet to release the date sheets for Class 10 and 12 term-1 exam due in November-December 2021. Students who will be appearing in the exams are anxiously waiting for the datesheets as the board had notified its release date as Ocotber 18.
