A man has been hospitalized and remains in “serious condition” after being knocked out at a bar in Port Arthur early Saturday morning.
The Port Arthur Police Department received a call around midnight from Dylan’s Bar and Grill, 8601 Ninth Avenue, for a man who was unconscious in the patio area. He was taken by EMS to a local hospital, a PAPD news release said.
Police said the man “was assaulted, fell to the ground and hit his head on the floor, and sustained serious injuries.”
The identity of the man is being withheld at this time and the incident remains under investigation, PAPD said.
