Tensions explode on The Block as Josh and Luke DEMAND an audit to see what Kirsty and Jesse are spending on their home - and even the other teams are suspicious the couple are cheating

Suspicions rose on Wednesday's episode of The Block, as all teams continued to question how Kirsty Lee Akers and Jesse Anderson had so much money to spend on their huge property.

During the episode, twins Josh and Luke Packham raged that they wanted to see 'an audit' of everything the couple had spent to put their minds at ease.

'We've decided enough is enough. We need an audit. There needs to be an audit,' Luke said to the camera.

'I can't have it. I won't have it,' he added, still shocked that 48 tradies were spotted on the couple's site earlier in the week.

'I need to see where their money is going,' Josh added.

'My undertaking is - how are they saving money? They're in the biggest home, they should have more tradies every week.

'Everyone else is struggling financially but they seem to have a whole lot of money stacked up.'

They weren't the only ones getting suspicious, with Tanya Guccione - who confessed to being part of another cheating scandal earlier in the season - thinking something similar.

She told the camera: 'People were very hard on us for certain things that had happened, and there are Block rules that have to take place.'

Tanya previously confessed that she had been sent a picture of the production schedule from an 'anonymous tradie' and forwarded it to the twins, which resulted in both teams losing two points during basement week.

'If anyone's getting an unfair advantage, how is that fair for anybody else?' Tanya continued. 'Even if it doesn't change our situation, it needs to be spoken about in open communication.'

Ronnie Caceres was still in shock over the level of tradies on the couple's site, adding: 'The Block's never seen anything like it. Normally The Block houses are roughly the same give or take a couple of square meterage - nothing like this.'

When asked if they were 'bending the rules', Kirsty and Jesse were adamant they had done nothing wrong.

'I think they're finally realising that we probably will win The Block.'

Later in the episode, Scott Cam discussed with Jesse and Kirsty where their money had come from.

They confirmed they had won $20,000 from winning challenges, had pulled the hipages lever - meaning an army of tradies could show up and help to build at the property - and had won another $35,000 from Suncorp.

That was all without their own savings.

When Scott spoke to the twins about their suspicions, he warned them: 'Don't waste your time worrying about your neighbours.'
