Nokia has launched G300, a new $200 phone in the US. The new affordable phone supports 5G and includes a decent set of specifications.
The all-new Nokia G300 phone has a 6.5-inch display with HD+ resolution. There is a v-shaped notch on the display to carry an 8MP selfie camera. The bottom bezels are pretty significant but it’s all right to have them at its price point.

There are three cameras on the back panel of the Nokia G300 which have been arranged in a circular-shaped module. The LED flash also resides inside the same setup. The primary sensor is the 16MP, followed by a 5MP ultrawide shooter and a 2MP depth sensor for taking portrait photos. The camera also supports Night mode, EIS, OZO audio surround, and wind noise cancellation.
The Nokia G300 packs a 4,470mAh battery and is rated to deliver up to two-day battery life. The phone supports 18W charging as well. According to the product’s page, the Nokia G300 also supports AI-assisted Adaptive Battery technology that provides smart app usage and prioritizes power.
Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The fingerprint scanner is mounted on the side. The phone also supports face recognition for unlocking purposes.
The price of the Nokia G300 is $200 and it will go on sale starting October 19. It will be available from two pre-paid carriers – Straight Talk and TracFone Wireless.
