Overview

More than 300 million people in the world suffer from asthma. Global initiative for asthma (GINA) comes up with guidelines for asthma every year and it is an evidence-based strategy that focuses on translating guidelines into clinical practice. Gina has aimed to prevent asthma deaths and exacerbations, improve symptom control and improve understanding of the disease processes.

In this video, Dr. Indu Khosla talks about all the changes that have come up with Asthma and its treatment. She discusses a case on asthma and its related treatment based on GINA guidelines 2021.
