The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) spokesperson Nawab Malik has expressed doubts over the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) raid that took place onboard a Mumbai cruise on Saturday night. The man, who took a viral selfie with Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan after his arrest in Mumbai drugs-on-cruise case, is a private investigator, he alleged.
The NCB had arrested Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan and Arbaaz Merchant after a raid in the cruise in Mumbai.
Malik also alleged that another person holding the hand of accused Arbaaz Merchant is a BJP functionary. Arbaaz Merchant, who was arrested by the NCB with Aryan Khan on the Mumbai cruise, was grabbed and taken to the NCB office by the man who does not belong to the NCB.
The man has identified as BJP vice president Manish Bhanushali who has photos with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP president Nadda, Leader of Opposition Devendra Fadnavis and BJP MLA Ashish Shelar.
During a press conference on Wednesday, Malik claimed that a person named KP Gosavi was seen bringing in Aryan Khan to the NCB office. The NCB, however, called the allegations are baseless and prejudiced.
Holding a press conference on Wednesday, Malik demanded that the NCB should answer as to what private people like Gosavi and Bhanushali were doing during a high-profile raid. He claimed that Bhanushali was in Gujarat on September 21 and 22 when drugs were seized at the Mundra port and he was in Gujarat till 28 and then went to Delhi.
What was Bhanushali doing in Gujarat ? Why was he meeting Gujarat ministers?” Malik asked during the press conference.
On September 22, 3,000 kg drugs were found at Mundra port in Gujarat linked Adani group. Bhanushali arrived in Mumbai on September 28. Then on October 1, he went to Gujarat again. From there, he returned to Mumbai and was present during the NCB operation on the cruise, Malik said.
The minister also claimed that no drugs were seized during the raid.
