Covid-19: Ludhiana hits 3 million vaccination milestone

LUDHIANA: The Ludhiana district administration on Wednesday celebrated the achievement of administrating 3-million anti-Covid vaccine doses on Tuesday.
Congratulating the health warriors including doctors and paramedics for their remarkable efforts, additional deputy commissioner (ADC)-cum-Nodal Officer vaccination Dr Nayan and MC Councillor Mamta Ashu said that Ludhiana is already the leading district in Punjab by administrating 30,41,898 Covid shots including 21,58,459 eligible beneficiaries with the first dose and 88,34,39 people getting the second dose till October 5.
82 percent population of the city has received the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine and nearly 34 percent people are now fully vaccinated.
