On the occasion of the start of the Bathukamma festival, a symbol of Telangana's culture and the State government's official celebration, chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao addressed telangana residents. In his particular message, he explained how the event is dedicated to women, encouraging them to sing and dance while surrounded by colourful flowers. On the occasion of the Bathukamma festival on Wednesday, governor Dr tamilisai soundararajan greeted the people of the state.

Bathukamma is a true homage to local telangana culture and customs, in which ladies worship the Goddess Gauri (Goddess Parvati) as Bathukamma. Let us enjoy Bathukamma safely by following Covid's precautionary procedures. With Goddess Gauri's blessings, wishing all a wonderful and beautiful Bathukamma celebration, and wanting everyone to be safe and healthy.

The celebration is centred on honouring nature, with women creating Bathukammas out of various flowers and dancing around them in joy and glee. Bathukamma is an important element of the telangana people's culture, and it has spread around the world. Bathukamma will be celebrated throughout the state, due to the efforts of the state government.

Because all tanks and water bodies are full of water, Chandrashekar Rao advised people to take precautions during Bathukamma immersion. He prayed to the Goddess for happiness, wealth, and longevity for the people of Telangana.
