Police investigating death of man, woman after bodies found in a car as murder-suicide

Union Township police said the death of a man and a woman, whose bodies were found in a car Tuesday night, is being investigated as a murder-suicide. 

Around 7:00 p.m., officers were dispatched in the 400 block of Gleneste Withamsville Road near Shayler Road for reports of a vehicle off the side of the roadway.

At the scene, officers found the bodies of a man and woman inside the car. 

Investigators said both the man and woman suffered from gunshot wounds and were already dead when officers arrived. 

Police said they will release the identities of the man and woman once the next of kin have been notified.
