Tourangbam Meena added that as the hour was late and the volume at which they were using the loud speakers was quite high, they had went outside and requested them to lower the volume.
At the same time a team of Heirok Police led by its OC had came at the spot.
T Meena and T Ibotomba apprised the issue to the OC who instead of addressing the issue had team-up with the alleged supporters of BJP to shut down the electric supply in the locality and tried to disperse the crowd that had gathered, alleged T Meena.
The Police had fired tear gas and smoke bomb towards their residence and destroyed the windshield of their parked car, she alleged.
T Meena sought attention of the Chief Minister and demanded immediate transfer of OC Heirok PS as he was biased in dealing with the issue.
Another resident of Heirok Part III Bamnol Leirak, Moirangthem Tombi has also alleged the Police of resorting to one sidedness in a similar incident that happened on October 1 at her residence.
