Imphal, October 05 2021: BJP Kishan Morcha vice president and medical Cell convener Dr Ksh Kala, who is gearing up to fight the 2022 election from Khundrakpam assembly constituency, distributed E-Shram (labour) cards and PM-JAY cards to different beneficiaries of the constituency in a function held at RAM School, Pangei.

Dr Kala, who presided over the function, said that E-Shram scheme was launched on August 26 by the BJP government and labourers under 59 years of age can get benefits under the scheme.

An insurance of Rs 2 lakh in case of death or permanent disability, and Rs 1 lakh in case partial disability are provided under the scheme.

He also spoke on the benefits of PMJAY scheme.

Khundrakpam GP member Tonjam Sama and Waiton GP member Konjengbam Ibecha also attended the function along with around 100 beneficiaries.
