Ambuja Cements shares drop 0.78% as Sensex falls

Shares of the Ltd. traded at Rs 400.8 on BSE at 01:31PM (IST) on Wednesday, down 0.78 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 219.6 and a high of Rs 442.95.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 25.02 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 16.0 per share and 2.17 times its book value, as per BSE data.

A total of 258,615 shares changed hands on the counter till 01:31PM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 79505.23 crore and is part of the Cement - Pan India industry.

The scrip has been an outperformer , up 77.95 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 59.44 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 406.85 and Rs 399.9.
