MSF to initiate "Sanghalasi Manipur" campaign

Imphal, October 05 2021: Manipur Students' Federation (MSF) will henceforth check the mass cutting down of trees and levelling of hills in the valley area under MSF's "Sanghalasi Manipur (Greener Manipur)" campaign.

As per a press release issued today, MSF have stated that in the name of development many hills in the valley region have been levelled and trees cut down rampantly leading to an increase in soil erosion and occurrences of landslides, sinkholes and so on.

As a result, MSF have resolved to focus their efforts on preserving the ecological balance and creating a greener Manipur.
