Minister Lukhoi bats for entrepreneurial ventures

Imphal, October 05 2021: Tourism minister Oinam Lukhoi has called upon the educated youth of the state to take up entrepreneurial ventures in order to provide jobs to others and bring improvement in the state's socio-economic conditions.
He was attending the opening function of an outlet of Kev-enter Food and Beverage near ABC Godown, DM College Road in Thangmeiband on Tuesday.
Ex-minister Thangminlien Kipgen and ADGP C Doungel also attended the function.
Speaking at the event, minister Lukhoi maintained that youth of the state are talented and utilising their talents to take up entrepreneurial ventures can help in bringing overall development of the state.
The outlet will not only provide foods and beverages to the public but will also generate jobs, he said.
He then stressed the need for maintaining proper hygiene while conveying that the government is taking up various initiatives to promote tourism in the state.
The outlet opened at Thangmeiband is the third such outlet of Keventer, a food and beverage franchise established in 1925, in the northeast region after Assam and Meghalaya.
Foods and beverage made from dairy are the main products the outlet is serving to its customers.
