What a match it has been as defending Champions Mumbai Indians kept their IPL 2021 playoffs hopes alive by beating Rajasthan Royals by eight wickets at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium in Sharjah.
Mumbai Indians (MI) reached the target of 91 runs in just 8.2 overs and also earned 2 crucial points boosting their NRR.
Put in to bat first, Rajasthan Royals got off to bad start and never really recovered. The side lost opener Yashasvi Jaiswal as Coulter-Nile picked his first wicket for the day. The side collapsed from 41/1 to 50/6 in four overs as Mumbai Indians bowlers wreak havoc.
After restricting the side to just 90 runs, Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma came in with a bang and despite losing two wickets, the former batter kept going and even reached his half-century.
