Punjab: Navjot Singh Sidhu's daughter Rabia attends Amritsar event, triggers speculation

Rabia Sidhu inaugurated the development works in Amritsar East assembly constituency.
AMRITSAR: It was like the debut of Navjot Singh Sidhu's daughter Rabia Sidhu in politics on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, Rabia, along with Congress workers, went to the Verka area of Amritsar East in the Punjab assembly constituency and inaugurated the development work of roads.
Sidhu is an MLA from Amritsar East assembly constituency.
Cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu, who has resigned from the post of president of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee, has been making rounds of Patiala and Delhi in the recent past.
Local Congress politician Harpal Singh said that various development works in the Amritsar East assembly constituency which were pending are now being resumed by the new chairman of Amritsar Improvement Trust.
However, Rabia who inaugurated the development work, but didn't talk to media persons.
