Atos wins R&D contract from ESA to improve cyber security of satellite testing systems

Atos has been awarded a contract from the European Space Agency (ESA) to develop tools that will improve cyber security during the testing of electrical systems in satellites. The R&D project comes under ESA's Advanced Research in Telecommunications Systems (ARTES) C&G programme. It aims to put in place security mechanisms able to protect the EGSE (Electrical Ground Support Equipment) elements used to test and validate electrical functions of satellites on the ground, before their launch.
