Eastbound lanes on Interstate 69 near the Riley Center Road exit are currently blocked following a reported traffic crash.
According to the Michigan Department of Transportation's Mi Drive map, the crash was reported at 2:20 p.m.
A St. Clair County sheriff's official said the crash occurred after a vehicle pulled over in a construction zone and was hit from behind. There were no reported injuries but a lot of damage and debris.
That area of I-69 in northern Riley Township is already under construction through the end of this month. According to the state, that includes single-lane closures on the eastbound and westbound sides of the highway.
