Volkswagen Passenger Cars India has launched the Polo and Vento Matt Editions in the country. The Matt edition is available in the GT variant of the Polo, with prices starting at ₹ 9.99 lakh. The Vento Matt edition, on the other hand, is priced from ₹ 11.94 lakh for the Highline AT variant, going up to ₹ 13.34 lakh for the Highline Plus AT variant (all prices, ex-showroom India). With the introduction of the Matt edition, the automaker has expanded its Polo and Vento range, making it more accessible to buyers.

The Matt edition will be available in the GT variant of the Polo
The new special edition models get cosmetic updates on the outside, while the cabin remains untouched. Upgrades on the models include Carbon Steel Grey Matt finish on the roof, fuel flap, front and rear bumper. However, the ORVMs and door handles come with a black glossy finish giving a premium look. The Polo and Vento Matt Editions are available across all the dealerships as well as Volkswagen online retail platform starting today. The models also come with the Volkswagen standard 4EVER Care package, which includes a 4-year standard warranty, 4-years roadside assistance (RSA) and 3-free services as a standard.

Prices for the Vento Matt edition start from ₹ 11.94 lakh (ex-showroom, India)
Both the models are powered by the same 1.0-litre three-cylinder, turbocharged TSI engine. The Turbocharged Stratified Injection (TSI) technology brings that extra push of power on both models, which makes the drive even more engaging. The unit is tuned to produce 108 bhp at 5000-5500 rpm and 175 Nm at 1750-4000 rpm of peak torque. The engine comes paired with a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
