SAS Australia star reveals they made a secret 'off-screen deal' with a fellow recruit before the show
A recruit on this year's SAS Australia has revealed they made a 'secret pact' with a fellow contestant before the show had even started filming.
Dan Ewing, 36, revealed on Wednesday he'd spoken to Bra Boy Koby Abberton, 42, off-camera about the boxing match they knew would take place later in the season.
After the ruthless fights between recruits took centre stage in the 2020 season, Dan told news.com.au he and Koby had agreed to not 'try to kill each other' if they were paired, but not necessarily to 'just [go] through the motions' either.

'We knew they were going to do the boxing thing, so I said, "You know what’s going to happen here. Our boys are the same age. I don’t want them to see their dads knocking each other’s heads off,"' Dan said of his pre-show conversation with Koby.
Dan know they would most likely be paired in a fight because his character on Home and Away is a member of the River Boys gang, which is based on the Bra Boys.
But when the two men were eventually ordered to face off, the actor said their off-screen vow went completely out of the window.
'When we stepped out, I saw [Koby's] eyes and they were just red,' he revealed.
'I was just like, "I’ve made a mistake here". He’s smaller but he’s a trained fighter, so I was just like… protect the face!'
