UP Govt Appoints Kangana Ranaut As Brand Ambassador For ''One District-One Product'' Scheme

Amid the constant criticism from one section of the country for blindly supporting Kangana Ranaut, the Uttar Pradesh (UP) government, on Friday, named the Bollywood superstar as the brand ambassador of its ambitious ''one district-one product'' programme.
Navneet Sehgal, Additional Chief Secretary (Information) said, "Famous actress Kangana Ranaut met. Chief Minister of UP, who presented her with an ODOP product. Kangana ji will be our brand ambassador for ODOP."

The Thalaivii star met UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at his official residence, where Yogi also invited her to the Ram temple in Ayodhya.
Kangana took to her Instagram and wrote, “It was wonderful to meet Honourable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Shri Yogi Aditya Nath Ji. He is exceptionally vibrant, genuine and motivating in person. What a pleasure and privilege to have an audience with this young, fiery and one of the most loved and popular leaders of this nation.”
The Yogi Adityanath led UP government has launched the one district-one product (ODOP) programme to establish product-specific traditional industrial hubs across 75 districts of the entire state.
She said in an Instagram post, “Honourable Chief Minister Ji gifting me the coin which was used at Ramjanm Bhumi Pujan. I am making a film called Ayodhya on Ram temple. This is a good omen or as we call it in Hindi Aashirwad. Jai Shri Ram.”
Talking about Kangana, she has been an open supporter of Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Central Government including the BJP Government in Uttar Pradesh and other states as well.
On the work front, she will be seen in Dhakad which also stars Arjun Rampal, and the aerial drama Tejas, where she is playing a fighter pilot.
