Imphal, September 26 2021: Ex MLA Md Amin Shah has stressed on the need to strengthen Seva Dal, Youth Congress and Mahila Congress in Kshetrigao AC to guarantee a landslide win for Indian National Congress in the constituency in the upcoming 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly election.

Md Amin Shah, who is also the general secretary of Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee, made the remark at a one day block level Seva Dal training program held at his residence organised by Kshetrigao Block Congress Committee and added that Seva Dal is the frontal organisation of the party and will play a pivotal role in the election.

Keeping this in mind, the training program was being organised for selected male and female workers.

Similar works to strengthen Youth Congress are also being taken up, he added.

A meeting of Mahila Congress will also be organised very soon.

Calling out the BJP for trying to fool the public by issuing recruitment notifications for various departments when the election is around the corner, he said the results of such recruitments will probably be not declared.

Speaking at the program, Hareshwar Goshwami, general secretary (organisation), MPCC said strengthening Seva Dal is very important to strengthen the part as a whole.

He also reiterated the role played by Seva Dal during the freedom struggle.

MPCC general secretary Md Amir Hussain appealed all the Seva Dal workers to start working from grassroots level to strengthen the party.

The training program was also attended by N Ajit, president, Imphal East District Congress Committee; Kachungjai Kamei, president, Kshetrigao Block Congress Committee; L Jaimala Devi, incharge, Manipur Pradesh Congress Seva Dal; Lalijan Begum, treasurer, MPCC Minority Development and Ahmad Nongjaimayum, general secretary MPCC Minority Development.
