New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the National Digital Health Mission (NDHM) on Monday through video conference. This information was given by the Prime Minister's Office. The PMO said, 'As part of a historic initiative, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the National Digital Health Campaign through video conference on September 27 at 11 am. After this, the Prime Minister will also address it. The Prime Minister had on August 15 last year announced the pilot project of the National Digital Health Campaign from the ramparts of the Red Fort. At present this scheme is being implemented in six union territories in the initial phase.

The nationwide launch of NDHM coincides with the third anniversary of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya will also be present on this occasion. NDHM based on infrastructure prepared as Jan Dhan, Aadhar and Mobile (JAM) trinity, and other digital initiatives of the Government ensuring the security, confidentiality, and privacy of health-related personal information through the provision of a wide range of data, Will create a seamless online platform for information and information.

Health ID for every citizen in NDHM

This will enable the duly availing of infrastructure services as well as an interoperable and standards-based digital system. Under this campaign, access and exchange of health records will be enabled with the consent of citizens.

Key components of the NDHM include a health ID for each citizen which will also act as their health account, allowing individual health records to be linked and viewed through a mobile application.

Under this, the Healthcare Professionals Registry (HPR) and Healthcare Facilities Registries (HFR) will act as a repository for all healthcare providers in both modern and traditional medicine systems. This will ensure ease of doing business for doctors as well as hospitals and healthcare providers.
