Hyderabad: All government offices and educational institutions in the state of Telangana would be closed on Tuesday after the forecast of heavy rain in the next 48 hours.
Prime Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, after holding a meeting with General Secretary Somesh Kumar, said emergency services such as revenue, police, fire services, municipal, Panchayati Raj, irrigation, roads and buildings should have emergency services to ensure no property or lives are lost due to heavy rain.
The General Secretary instructed the General Secretariat (CAD) to take the necessary steps in accordance with the instructions of the Prime Minister.
