Intel breaks ground on two chip factories in Arizona

Intel said it has broken ground for two new chip factories at its Ocotillo campus in Chandler, Arizona. The two new fabs in Arizona will support growing demand for Intel's products and provide committed capacity for the recently announced Intel Foundry Services (IFS). The two new factories are to be named Fab 52 and Fab 62 and means Intel's Ocotillo campus will house a total of six fabs.
