Odisha: Cyclone Gulab makes landfall

The landfall process of cyclonic storm Gulab started and will continue for another three hours, says IMD. The effects of Cyclone Gulab, the second to hit Odisha after Yaas, are already visible as many districts already received light to moderate rains. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today held a meeting at Odisha Bhawan in Delhi to review the preparations. According to Odisha Special Relief Commissioner, ODRAF teams, NDRF teams, and State fire services have been deployed to undertake relief operations during cyclone Gulab.
